Many of you know us simply as Susan and Bill. We are very excited to be sellers on eBay and the Internet. We've shopped eBay and other sites through the years, and have found some real treasures. But we are really enjoying having become Gold Powersellers.

We've both worked for more years than we wish to admit, and have held a number of "executive positions" - complete with power suits and 80 hour work weeks. And lots of office politics we really hated.

Susan was the first to leave that world, set up our first home office, moved our fantastic African Grey parrot into it with her, and begin selling all sorts of "stuff" on eBay. She did that for several years under our first eBay store name: Handpicked4You.

As a Certified Master of Copywriting with lots of professional copywriting and marketing experience under her belt, Susan loves writing item descriptions. Bill is a great marketer, too, having held his own marketing, business development and financial positions "outside the home." It was very exciting for both of us when we could finally both leave the rat race and work from home.

Life Before the Internet

Susan made jewelry as a hobby in the beginning and then as a little side business for many years. She and Bill exhibited in festivals and flea markets, and even entered some juried art and craft shows.

Back in the 1980's, Susan and Bill ventured out on their own and operated a small manufacturing facility making rhinestone pieces and fashion creations designed by Susan, importing jewelry from Mexico and operating a jewelry store on Newbury Street in Boston. But the economy ended up killing that business, so Susan went back to making jewelry as a sideline, and both of us got back into the professional world.

And yes, we have sold jewelry on the Internet, but not for a couple years.

What's So Great About the Internet

We wouldn't say that working on-line is a walk in the park! It's very much 24/7 with weekends being the busiest selling times - evenings, too. That's when Internet shoppers go to town.

But working with and for people who have disabilities - or who are simply aging and determined to enjoy the good life - has been more rewarding than either of us could have ever dreamed. All you folks who do business with us and bother to email us and speak with us by phone are just great people - very, very special; down to earth; total sense of humor about life, and so grateful to be alive. You people are what make our days daily.

When Susan's arthritis got the best of her ankles and knees, Bill searched for hours to find a quality mobility scooter that came apart into pieces she could lift herself and load into our car. She wasn't happy about being regated to using a scooter because she was only "of a certain age." However, once she used her Zip'r scooter for a day, she was on Cloud 9!

How Can We Help You

It is so gratifying for us to have the respect of our customers - we enjoy working with people and making them happy. No sale is worth leaving someone unhappy. We are so proud of our 100% positive feedback rating, and we will strive to keep it that way as long as we possibly can - by making certain you are completely satisfied with every item you purchase from us.

Please never hesitate to let us know what you need - every question you ask of us teaches us something more about our industry. We enjoy attending medical equipment trade shows, and we rely on our customers to tell us what they need us to add to our line.

If our items don't fit you, your body, your home or your life-style, we enjoy the challenge of sifting through all the "stuff" our manufacturers have to offer until we find something suitable to your needs.

If something you have - from us or from another provider - doesn't "work right" for you, that feedback helps us choose better quality merchandise with more practical features to meet your needs.

We have learned so very much about our business from our customers - and those who simply email us with questions - it makes our days fascinating. We honestly enjoy helping you if we can - so don't hesitate to ask!

Don't Take Our Word For It

Please read our feedback. We may sound good, but it's what our customers think that matters. We've worked hard to maintain our 100% positive feedback rating, and we want you to know that we do more than talk a good game. Please read what others think of our products and service. You be the judge.

We want you to be fully satisfied. So if we did not describe something well enough to satisfy you, please let us know so there will be no surprises or disappointments. Your questions are always welcome. Just email us at:

If something goes wrong: In spite of the fact that we’re perfect, we do business perfectly, our merchandise is perfect and our packaging/shipping is completely perfect, something might go wrong! You see, someone else could goof up. :-)

Hopefully things will only go wrong with someone else’s transaction – not yours. But if the evil gremlins do decide to have their way with both of us, we will be just as upset as you.

We’ll do whatever it takes to earn your trust

So, if something goes wrong with your shipment or your transaction, please let us know as soon as possible by email at

Let us know and you can return your item to us within 10 days of receipt. We'll issue a full refund when your item arrives back in saleable condition, minus shipping and handling charges. Unfortunately, our manufacturers all charge us a 25% restocking fee when we return something that isn't damaged. So we have to pass that charge on to you, as well. Otherwise, we cannot keep our prices as low as we can.

Please refer to "The Red Tape" section in our item description for our complete return policy
